The marathon, coached properly.
The Marathon Clinic exists because runners deserve better than a generic plan and a wish of luck. The marathon is a specialist event: 42.195 km has its own physiology, its own pacing, its own way of going wrong, and it deserves a specialist's eye.

The clinic idea
We borrowed the word “clinic” on purpose. A good clinic examines you before it prescribes. It treats you like a person, and never punishes you for being human. Every feature here is framed as care: a tool, a prescription, a check-up, a practitioner watching every run.
That means we move a missed run and carry on, no reset. Your plan is yours to keep. A human answers your messages, usually same day, and AI is a quiet layer underneath, never the whole relationship.
We keep our roster small and our focus on the marathon. We’d rather coach a hundred runners brilliantly than a hundred thousand averagely. The brand is new; the craft behind it is not. It draws on more than a decade as an elite endurance athlete, and the coaching that grew out of it, brought together in Sydney in 2026 and offered now to runners worldwide.
“After a decade in high-performance sport, much of it as the athlete, Jason kept seeing the same thing: good runners handed generic plans, training hard, and breaking. Diagnose first, then prescribe. Understand the runner before the plan.”
Grounded, not generated.
Every number this site gives you is worked out, not guessed. The tools, the free plan and the guides run on fixed sports-science formulas and the Clinic’s own method, so the same inputs always return the same answer. Nothing you get here is improvised by a language model.
That took deliberate work: taking what a good coach actually knows and building it into something you can use yourself, rather than handing your training to a generic AI and hoping. We do use AI to help us work, to research, draft and build faster, but never to write your plan. The judgement is human, the science is real, and the maths is the same for everyone.
Free where it helps. Coached when you want more.
Most of what we make is free and meant to stand on its own: the tools, a full marathon plan from the generator, and the guides. None of it is a trial or a tease, and none of it is locked behind a wall.
When you want a real coach in it with you, reading every run and reshaping the week around your life, that is what coaching is for. The free work gets you a long way; coaching is for when you want someone in your corner the whole way.
Four convictions, before any plan.
Built for the marathon
Everything here is shaped for the one event, so your plan is a specialist’s.
Diagnosed first
We read your running before we write a single session.
The right work
We cut the plan back to the sessions that actually move your time.
We coach to teach
You leave understanding your own running, whether you reach for a free tool or train with us for a season.
How those convictions become the training is its own story: the one idea, and the ten pillars behind every plan we write.

Built for the marathon, on purpose.
Work with a coach who stays in your corner to the line. Or build a free plan to get started.
