The Marathon Clinic
About

We do one thing: the marathon.

The Marathon Clinic exists because runners deserve better than a generic plan and a wish of luck. The marathon is a specialist event — 42.195 km has its own physiology, its own pacing, its own way of going wrong — and it deserves a specialist's eye.

The Sunday long run · the work that makes the marathon
·The clinic idea

We borrowed the word “clinic” on purpose. A good clinic reads you before it prescribes, treats you like a person, and never punishes you for being human. Every feature here is framed as care: a tool, a prescription, a check-up, a practitioner watching every run.

That means a missed run is a planning problem, not a failure. It means your data is yours, pushed to the tools you already use. And it means a human is always reachable — AI is a quiet layer underneath, never the whole relationship.

We keep our roster small and marathon-only. We’d rather coach a hundred runners brilliantly than a hundred thousand averagely. Founded in Sydney in 2026, we coach runners worldwide.

Why I started it

After fifteen years of coaching, I watched the same thing again and again: good runners handed to generic plans, training hard, and breaking. Read the runner first, then write the plan. That’s the whole idea.

·What we stand for

Marathon only

The single event we coach, so the plan is a specialist’s, never a template.
